Grapeseed Oil - upcycled from wine production and high in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid naturally found in the skin barrier; dissolves away oil-based impurities while leaving the barrier's own structure undisturbed.
Oat Powder - finely milled and trusted on irritated skin for centuries for its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties; provides gentle physical exfoliation without the sharp edges or sting of a traditional scrub.
Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil (grape seed oil) · Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (oat flour) · Vegetable Glycerin · Propanediol (plant-derived humectant) · Polyglyceryl-3 Distearate · Prunus Persica Kernel Oil (peach kernel oil) · Oryza Sativa Bran Cera (rice bran wax) · Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil · Coco-Glucoside · Aqua (water) · Citrus Nobilis Peel Extract (mandarin peel extract) · Tocopherol (vitamin E) · Psoralea Corylifolia Seed Extract (babchi seed extract) · Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (sunflower seed oil)
Scoop a hazelnut-sized amount into your palm and add a little water to create a soft, creamy texture. Massage gently over damp skin, taking a moment to slow down and enjoy the ritual. Rinse with warm water or remove with a damp muslin cloth. Use morning and evening for skin that feels fresh, balanced and ready for what comes next.
Suitable for:
All skin types, including dry, sensitive and congested skin. Suitable for daily morning and evening use, and safe to use around the eye area to remove eye make-up.
What's NOT in it:
No synthetic colours or fragrances · No silicones · No pesticides or GM ingredients · No harsh surfactants · No sulphates
100% natural · Certified cruelty-free and vegan
Why can the colour vary?
There are no synthetic colours anywhere in the formula, just the 100% natural ingredients your skin needs - so colour can vary slightly from batch to batch.
Is it a scrub?
Gentler. It's a deep cleanse with the added benefit of soft physical exfoliation from oat powder, which avoids the sharp edges of a traditional scrub or the sting of an acid.
Will it clog my pores?
The opposite. Grapeseed oil is high in linoleic acid and light in texture - the profile least associated with congestion. Oil cleansing works because oil dissolves oil, including hardened sebum sitting in a pore, for a deep cleanse suitable for all skin types.
Can I use it on eye make-up?
Yes - massage gently over closed eyes, avoid rubbing too hard, and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

NATURE'S ANSWER TO EVERYDAY CLEANSING
Cleansing is the step most people get wrong - and the one most likely to undo everything else in your routine. Most cleansers strip your skin to feel clean, foaming away impurities along with the natural oils your barrier needs, leaving skin that's too disrupted to properly absorb what comes next. We believe cleansing shouldn't come at that cost. So we built this balm on a nourishing grapeseed oil base with gently exfoliating oat powder - cleansing that supports your skin, rather than fighting it.
Grapeseed Oil
Upcycled from wine production. High in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid naturally found in your skin barrier. Dissolves away oil-based impurities while leaving the barrier's own structure undisturbed.
Oat Powder
Trusted on irritated skin for centuries. Provides gentle physical exfoliation without the sharp edges or sting of a traditional scrub - soothing skin as it smooths.
How It Works
Our balm cleanses with oil, not foam - dissolving away impurities and oil-based build-up while leaving your skin's natural barrier undisturbed, so it's nourished rather than stripped.
How to Use
No harsh surfactants, no stripping, no tight skin afterwards.
Scoop
Take a hazelnut-sized amount into your palm using clean, dry fingers or the spatula.
Emuslfiy
Add a little water and massage between your palms until the balm transforms into a soft, creamy texture.
Massage & Rinse
Massage gently over damp skin in circular motions, taking a moment to enjoy the ritual. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, or remove with a damp muslin cloth for a deeper cleanse.

"Our bakuchiol is sourced from 100% plant material and extracted using only green solvents to produce a purified product... clinically proven to provide the same anti-aging benefits as retinol - firming fine lines and wrinkles, fading pigmentation and increasing skin elasticity - but without the negative side effects."

Your questions, answered
I reacted badly to retinol - why would this be different?
Retinol works by converting to retinoic acid - and that conversion is what triggers the redness, peeling and "retinisation" many people react to. Bakuchiol, the active in our babchi seed extract, delivers comparable smoothing and firming through a different, gentler pathway, without that conversion. So you get the results without the reaction. It's also unscented and formulated for sensitive skin.
What exactly is bakuchiol?
Bakuchiol is a plant compound found in the babchi seed. It's clinically studied to work like retinol - smoothing lines and firming skin - but without the irritation retinol is known for. Its retinol-like effect is supported by two independent, peer-reviewed studies on the ingredient.
Can I use it with my other products - vitamin C, acids, SPF, make-up?
Yes. Unlike retinol, bakuchiol is gentle and stable, so it layers well with vitamin C, exfoliating acids and SPF, and sits comfortably under make-up. Apply after cleansing, before any heavier creams.
Is it suitable through perimenopause and menopause?
Yes - it's a gentle choice for perimenopausal and menopausal skin, which is often drier and more reactive. It's 100% natural, unscented, and formulated for all skin types. As always, check with your doctor if you have concerns.
Is there a "purge" or adjustment period, or any sun-sensitivity?
No. There's no "retinisation" or purge period, and — unlike retinol — it's photostable and doesn't increase sun-sensitivity, so you can wear it morning and night.
How long does one jar last?
With daily morning and evening use across your face and neck, a 50ml jar typically lasts around 6–8 weeks. A little goes a long way - a small amount patted onto cleansed skin is enough to cover the full area.
What if it doesn't work for me?
It's covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee — try it, and if you don't love it, we'll refund you. No fuss.
